Membership
Kusatsu International Friendship Association (KIFA) is looking for members to support our activities!
Types of Membership

Those who agree with the purpose of our activities and are willing to pay the annual membership fee.
Those who agree with the purpose of our activities and are willing to cooperate with our project management.
➡Regular Membership and Supporting Membership
Regular members have the right to vote at the general meeting.
-Annual membership fee covers one year from April to March.
-If you join between January and March, the annual membership fee will be half of the membership fee
-If the annual membership fee has not been paid for more than two years, the membership will be automatically cancelled.
How to Pay the Annual Membership Fee

Please make payment in person at the KIFA office or by remittance to one of the following financial institutions.

Membership Benefits (for both regular and supporting members)

(1) Delivery of the newsletter "KIFA Square" (*Except for student members)
(2) Discounts on participation fees for events hosted by KIFA
Discounts for participation in one-shot events of the Ritto and Yasu International Friendship Association
(3) Delivery of event and other notices via e-mail (registration required)
(4) Advance reservations for events sponsored by the association
(5) Corporate member list on the association's website, etc.
(6)Reporter Program on Sister Cities and Friendship Cities
KIFA members who travel to one of Kusatsu's five sister and friendship cities will receive 3,000 yen. For details, please contact the KIFA office.
- The first one person/per year/per sister and friendship city will receive the subsidy.
-After visiting the city, please write a report in about 400 words and submit it to KIFA. The report will be published in the KIFA newsletter.
